The Henderson County Tool Library is a shared collection of tools and equipment available to our community.
Membership is $50/year. If that isn’t affordable, talk with us. We want the library to be accessible.

Good to know
Can I return tools after hours?
Please return checked-out items during business hours. If we're working in the field and aren't immediately available, leave the item at the front door of the farm, take a photo, and text it to 828-209-8048 so we can check it in.
Can someone help me load a large item?
Usually, yes, if someone is available. We have a ramp for larger equipment. Please bring your own straps or other equipment needed to safely secure items in your vehicle.
Can I volunteer?
Yes. We especially need help cataloging items and maintaining the collection. Contact us if you'd like to help.
Can I donate tools?
Yes. We welcome tools in working condition and some recreational equipment. Contact us before bringing large items.
Can I suggest something for the library to purchase?
Absolutely. Call, text, or email us with suggestions for tools or equipment that would be useful to the community.
Not every household needs to own every tool. Some things work better when we hold them in common.
